Hey guys i know Ive not been around for ages but seriously Ive been so busy with uni interviews and preparing my portfolio. i need to sort out a timetable or something.

But anyways i thought id share with you a lovely project i did this weekend which included getting up at the crack of dawn and standing in a freezing yet beautiful park.

the pictures here are of garments i have made and the beautiful Lucy Fitzsimmions (i hope Ive spelt it right) who modeled for me.

Hustle Secreat Fashionistas

okay sorry for my rude absence I'm so busy that I'm in panic mode this month.

so i don't know id any of you readers know the BBC program Hustle but if you do great! i Love the program anyways and find it increasingly interesting as the series goes on. one reason why i also love this program is due to Matt DI Angelo and you have to admit why wouldn't anybody love hustle if this fittie was in it.

His style is also classy and expensive which adds to his reputation as a some what sex symbol and also style icon to those guys that want to look on trend and sophisticated.

Another reason i love the show is because one of my style icons is part of it. Kelly Adams is a beautiful and extremely talented actress who can switch her role as her character demands it. but her style doesn't budge at all its constantly unique, edgy, sophisticated and fun to match her personality. I would love to receive fashion tips from Kelly and for some of the boys at school to take intense lessons from Matt.

When i finally head to a full time job i hope to replicate and find inspiration from Kelly for my outfits daily and one day hope to meet the fashionista ( maybe even dress her in one of my designs).

Hustle is on Friday at 9pm on BBC 1 so all you budding fashionistas tune in and start getting tips you might just be surprised.

dose anyone know if material girl (fashion drama on BBC last year) will return for a second series ?

Karl Lagerfeld And His Chanel

Karl Lagerfeld is the inspiration and definition of the fashion world, it seems clear to me that he sometimes doesn't get the recognition he deserves. He also runs Chanel and is he the right man to do so or not?

This silver haired fox couldn't create any better collections than he dose every season for Chanel and we couldn't thank him enough (when i mean we i mean the people lucky enough to purchase a stunning Chanel coat or get an exclusive invite to his fashion shows at Paris fashion week), oh how i would kill for a ticket to watch a fashion progress from the ready to wear to the couture designs.





Karl as well as running Chanel has his own brand to look after, busy man but yet creates such detailed exquisite collection pieces and separates.



This man is a pure genius and i hope in the future if life stays fair to him i hope to work on his behalf making and designing creations that would blow your mind.

Shoes, Shoes and English Exams

Sorry for the non post yesterday was extremely busy, had the joy of revision to tend to, English GCSE to be exact. I hope Ive done well as this blog is also a source of revision also to improve my writing and spelling. Well anyways to me my class i hope you did well and when we open the results sheet on march lets hope its an C and not a D this time i think we deserve it.

Surprisingly Ive gone onto the subject of shoes today. Around the beginning of the year i bought 2 pairs of new shoes, i know right I'm spoiling myself but boy did i need them, lets say my others have seen better days. so these pairs Ive bought couldn't be more of the opposite but hey a girl needs shoes and this girl here certainly needs her pick of shoes.

I Love these they are perfect for a night out and go well with almost any outfit. And you can never say no to black shoes.

Pair two wedged winter boots with fur cuffs Adore !

I j'adore this style of shoe at the moment and have to contain myself from buying anymore. And the plus side to this is these were a steal.

I'm also a lover of Jimmy Choo and Kurt Geiger here's some of my favourite pieces from their recent collections. god how i hope to purchase a pair someday.

Charity Shop Chic

Ive always loved peering into Charity Shop windows, they just seem like a hidden jewel in Britain's Fashion culture. Some of you readers may be familiar with Charity shops and may of bought many of your vintage or chic items you own from the likes of Oxfam or Red Cross, but for you readers who haven't and may of even never set foot into one, you may be surprised as to how many one off bargains you can find.

Charity Shops don't just sell unwanted toys, books, games and items you may never of heard of, they also sell many items of jewelry and clothing items from party wear to casual jumpers. there is always guaranteed a local charity shop you can visit in your area, but id also suggest that you visit many in the London area or in the big city's or towns near to where you live as you can find some real bobby dazzlers.

In some charity shops you may also find some designer items that could be up to 70% off from its original price and beautiful, unique pieces of jewelry that would make any woman say yes.

All three of these dresses can be found on oxfam.org.uk and for you lucky readers i posted this at a good time, there's a 50% sale.

Why not visit some other charity shop websites, Marie Curie, Cancer Research, UNICEF etc...

Id just like to express that today i went onto twitter and saw a tweet that had been retweeted by a young stylish lady you all may know Rihanna. This tweet shocked me deeply and im very angry that such a low life can get away with produceing such vial things and commenting somethign you would never comment on about a lady!

Zac Posen

I have found a new love and that new love starts with he designer, Zac Posen, his collections just make me dribble (figure of speech) and i cant help but write a wish list of the items i want for spring this year. Even a dress for prom from Zac would be my biggest dream ever, year 13 prom by the way I'm way over year11 aha.


so onto his Spring 11 Collection, which is stunning, unique, feminine and well fitted to the womanly figure. His collection is more than appropriate for this spring it has so many of the key pieces and trends for the season ahead and flows well from his fall collection hes recently released.


For spring hes used dark colours teamed with dull brights but although his may sound boring or tacky, the way he sophisticately blends his colours gives the garments a weightless flow and an intense beauty.

I'm sorry this is a late post but Ive been so busy lately what with work, business homework, essays, textile coursework and revision.

well i got home today and found a letter, oo excitement, and it was clear that it was from bath spa which i recently applied for fashion design. Ive been asked to do a project for the first part of my application. i wont say what, i know that's so mean, but i want to leave you guessing and i just want you my loyal and maybe new readers, to answer one question.

Aunty Vivienne

Oh how i love Auntie Viv and her wicked ways, she sometimes in some ways reminds me of my textiles teacher i don't know if my class mates will agree or not ? but i mean that as a nice compliment because who wouldn't want to be compared to a fun, fashion loving woman.



Vivienne's recent collection has wowed me and yes i have purchased an item from her new collection, even though it may be the Naughty Alice perfume it came with a stunning bracelet with a blue heart charm with the famous brand signature and how i love it. sadly i never take it off only when i shower and wash i mean i don't want to ruin it come on!



Back to the collection, and i have to comment that the Gold Label has been my most favourite collection yet by Auntie Viv. its beautifully practical and seems very British, shes based most her inspiration on fairy tales and has focused on the guy we all would like Prince Charming.



The collection has a masculine appeal with the feminine detail, fit and sophistication added to it. here are some of my favourite pieces below;

90210 ep 1

Okay so that was well more than i expected, and im happily welcomeing back the shouting at the tv and unexpected throwing of objects in the same direction, doubt my mum is though !

So what did we have a series 2 flash back, an earthquake, a trumatic meeting of naomi and that scum (i know its only a show), car crash, A DEATH !, confessions and teen revolts. the writers certainly didnt stay tame with the first episode.

But hang on we shouldnt shy away from those outfits wow, i mean i wasnt a big fan of silvers style before i was growing on her but i mean i never had an intrest as naomi casted her in the shadows, but boy her experimantation has gone wild i loved the purple top she wore with the cut out neck line. I have to find myself one those tops I LOVE IT!

I cannot believe im saying this but naomi didnt wow me tonite her usual wardrobe must of got damaged or something in that earthquake i mean its like shes been robbed of her style (only slightly though) and im also shocked to be saying how much i loved the shirt bikini top and denim shorts that ivy was wearing very california and very summery. Dosent it just make you jealous and craveing to put your straw hat and dasiy dukes on.

lets say im a little excited for the summer sun and the festival style to return where i hope to attending v festival yeah !

Alexa Chung Style Icon 2010

well i can definitely say that Alexa Chung has been my fashion icon of 2010 and she's extremely stepped out of her channel 4 days to become a fashion muse to many designers, who in fact all want to dress her and invite her to the fashion shows (i mean who wouldn't).

Alexa has re invented her self well and has grabbed the fashion social seen by her teeth dramatically exiting and entering it in the year of 2010. shes been to almost every fashion social event and has redirected her style more times than traffic diversions on the m25. (The m25 is a motorway if any of you don't know that orbits London and and is infamous for its traffic.)

so I've wanted to share my passion for the fashion icon on my blog tonight to just see if any of you agree? what your thoughts are on her outfits? how do you think 2010 went for Alexa? and who's your fashion icon of 2010?

The Return Of 90210

Well its been a long wait but "90210 IS BACK" and lets say I'm a just a little excited ekkk and the drama is definitely set to return better and fiercer than ever with new, Hook ups, Break ups, Make ups more cat fights and alot more fashion situations, because lets face it, it wouldn't be 90210 with out any of it.

So this series seems to be a promising one and a fashionable one to be exact! from the cover above you can tell the girls are gonna go all out this year. some even experimenting with different styles which I've found out.

Wow and a silver definitely shows how she will experiment here with a brand new hair cut and style its clear she'll be pushing the fashion boundaries. what do you think of silvers hair and her new stylish way?

And we have a new kid on the block Oscar, British to be exact moving in with ivy and her mum, i think we can all say there will be trouble ahead. his slick back hair and denim shirt with cardie definitely says Brit kid! and screams private school boy trying to revolt. what do you think of the denim look shirt layered with the cardie style? do you like the look of the new kid? will he be a fashion hero or fashion zero?

Yep, well i can see it being a good year with the return of 90210 but my head may just explode when i go to school every Wednesday to gossip about the most scandalous zip code around and i leave you with a little teaser. Don't know about you but ill be picking up alot of style tips and tricks from this new season and hopefully it re-introduces and introduces new trends, fingers crossed.

Hey,

So this is my first ever blog so i apologise in advance for any mistakes or errors i make in my first few posts. well anyways back to what this is about, me of course.

Basically i am young fashion conscious woman who is currently a student, in my last year of sixth form. I'm currently studying Art, Textiles and Business Studies, and sadly i am resiting my English language GCSE.

Last year was hectic to say the least and boy did i learn alot in 2010, but i survived and what i learnt last year will be put into good practice this year.

Anyways back to what this blog is about FASHION! i have a massive interest into everything and anything fashion related and i never really had the chance to share this, so i thought why not start a blog with you lovely peoples and instead of barking into the somewhat lonely darkness of twitter and talking to myself when chatting to my friends that Henry Holland is next to us and them not having a clue who I'm on about, i could relate to people with my same interests and passions on here.

Even make a few friends along the way.

I also am currently applying for uni to of course study fashion design so i might be kind and exclusively share some of my design ideas with you lucky readers who knows if the right person See's this it could lead me to big things. So its beginning to be a stressful year, but what ever happens this year will definitely make 2011 my best year yet.
